Throughout its history and today, Mar-Val Food Stores strive to be a good corporate citizen and a caring neighbor in the communities it serves. Through corporate and foundation giving, campaigns carried out by its stores, local programs and individual employee involvement, Mar-Val Food Stores supports its communities and numerous non-profit organizations.
Mar-Val Supports Local Schools
The importance of a good education for children in general and helping them get a good start in life is another of Mar-Val Food Stores chief concerns. We partner with other organizations to procure the necessary supplies for elementary school students to have a successful school year.

The schools in our service area benefit from a program that allows Mar-Val Food Stores to give the local schools 1% of grocery sale receipts. So make sure you keep your Mar-Val Food Store receipts and have your kids take turn them into their teachers so the schools can receive necessary school supplies. If your kids are grown and out and about, give your receipts to the school yourself. This program benefits us all! Click here for more information on the program.
